"A Perfect Romance"
We fell in love with everything about Rarotonga Beach Bungalows. Tom, Marina and Lucky create an atmosphere that is perfect for each guest. When we were there, 4 of the 5 bungalows were full, two straight couples and two same sex couples. We all looked forward to meeting over breakfast each morning and sharing our adventures. The bungalows are excellent, a good size living room, complete kitchen and a spacious and comfortable bedroom. A garden shower adds just the extra romantic touch. The huge front porch is perfect for sipping a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and gazing out to the lagoon. The snokeling right in front of the property is some of the best on the island. The snokeling and kayak equipment is all in excellent condition. The entire complex is as neat as a pin and everyone on the staff is helpful. They have great and honest recommendations for where to go for the best food, shopping and tours. If we could give 6 stars we would
"Tom has done his homework”
We’d read all the reviews and corresponded with the Rarotonga Beach Bungalows staff prior to our arrival, but actually getting there and moving in was the icing on the cake! Luckey (property manager) was there to greet us when we arrived shortly after sunrise, she took us to our bungalow and showed us around, the accomodations were very spacious, carefully thought out for conveniences (lots of space to hang wet beach wear/towels) and decorated beautifully. Tile floors are throughout, with an area rug in the living area. Kitchen is very nice for a short stay, loved the electric water pot to make my tea every day. The entire property is on the sand, flip flops are the shoe of choice. Tom paid tons of attention to detail to make his place special.
Tom’s staff, Luckey, Miriama and Marina are top-notch, each being a special person in their own way. All staff, including Tom are very personable and truly want to create a special place for your hard-earned holiday. The entire property is spic and span, Tom is out raking the sand and clipping palm fronds as the sun rises each morning and sometimes we would leave our bungalow for a short time and it was magically cleaned while we were gone, some days we returned to find beautiful hibiscus or gardenias in our bathroom. Breakfast each morning was top notch with local fruits and breads, meat and cheeses, cereals and boiled eggs.
We just can’t say enough about Rarotonga Beach Bungalows, in fact, we’re already working on a trip for next year and are taking friends with us (we got back home less than a week ago). RBB is in the best location on the island (Titikaveka), very quiet, beautiful beach, don’t think we ever saw more than a dozen or so people on the beach.
We’re still dreaming of RBB, we are not big resort people, so the atmosphere and spirit at Rarotonga Beach Bungalows suited us perfectly!
"Rarotonga’s Best Kept Secret"
It’s hard to find adequate words to describe this incredible place. When we landed at the airport we were greeted by and “lei’d” by our transport driver (Courtesy of RBB). We were greeted by gracious staff and shown to our bungalow. Beautifully custom built and designed with the island motif. Immaculately clean, and daily cleaned and refubished with fresh (abundant) towels by smiling warm staff. There isn’t a bad view at Rarotonga Beach Bungalows, regardless of which bunaglow you stay in they each have their own unique charm and gorgeous view of the sea, banana palms, sunshine and clean raked sand. Each morning a wonderful continental breakfast is available offering coffee,tea eggs, fresh tropical fresh, juice, toast, eggs and daily variety items. The staff is warm, helpful, courteous and eager to please. They welcome all the guests & by the time we left we felt like family. The grounds are kept immaculately clean, and there is easy access to not only beach and waterfront, but snorkeling gear and kayaking equipment is available free of charge. We highly recommend RBB to anyone looking for a private, beautiful, safe, and clean place to stay in Rarotonga. There is easy transportation and dining close to RBB. The bungalows are also fully equipped with kitchen and enough implements and cooking equipment to satisfy even a pickey gourmet chef. Can’t rave enough about this place and especially the people that work there and truly make you feel like a "guest" at all times. Thank you Rarotonga Beach Bungalows for a most spectacular stay. I won’t consider staying anywhere else when I return to Rarotonga.
