Authentic Polynesian craftsmanship is the true heart of our company. Built in 2002, our design is a loving commitment to evoking the romantic, old-world Polynesia of the 1930s and '40s. We felt it was essential to honor tradition through every detail: our bungalows feature natural materials, hand-crafted bamboo interior walls, and colorful Pareu cloth ceilings. You'll find the interiors meticulously decorated with genuine tropical and native island objects, ensuring your stay is surrounded by a rich sense of history and dedicated island artistry.

We're incredibly fortunate to be located right alongside a special marine wildlife protected lagoon area, known locally as a Rāhui.

To ensure this precious ecosystem thrives, fishing is strictly prohibited in the waters directly in front of the resort. This important conservation effort is why our lagoon is so vibrant! It allows the colorful tropical fish to grow large and plentiful, creating a truly spectacular underwater display. Keep an eye out and you may see majestic eagle rays gliding by or even a gentle green sea turtle swimming near the shore.
